Freedom of the Press. Sacrosanct, unless you are a blogger, someone who does not have an editor above him. No, we must have editors, because there must be a corporation we can sue somewhere for real money. If we want to sue a blogger, they have no money. It all comes down to money.
So if you are going to be the intrepid journalist going after the real story in politics (fiction, Colbert called it), you need access. Not the kind of cloak and dagger access of a lock pick and a thumb drive, but rather, that of a chair, in a blue room, where a mouthpiece of the administration, paid to lie on its behalf can decide what to tell you.
So where is the competition? No one has "the scoop", no one can have "the exclusive" - instead, the various news outlets get their chair, and they all run the same story. The same assertions. The same conclusions.
It may as well read:
The following is from the Administration today concerning...
There will be no investigation of fact. Instead, if the Administration wants to destroy an enemy, it will leak something "juicy", "red meat" to the press room. Then they will go about their follow-ups. But nothing will cause them to challenge in any real sense, what is said. In fact, there is a very important reason for this:
They will not be invited back to the press room. Their news outlet will lose access, and not be able to run the story.
So the Editor does not want the reporter to get the real story. The Editor has other journalism- I mean stenographer students to put in the place of misbehaving truth-seekers. The chair in the press room is coveted... because the Fourth Estate is coveted.
This then, is why bloggers are hated and reviled. See, a blogger does not have an editor, does not require access to the press room, and most of the time would not want it. Why bother with bated breath to hear a lie- when you should be about getting to the truth.
Competition for the truth is the filter we use to get to the facts. The real story is the money story. The bubble gum story is worthless. Supression of the facts is exactly what the administration or any branch of government wants to do, so other means of getting the truth must be employed. This means you do not believe the media.
Some call the media liberal, others call it main stream, others lame-stream. Well, there is enough conservative media- no one dare suggest that Bush did not have journalists in Iraq because he wanted them to write an objective piece about an undeclared war in Iraq. They put themselves in harms way, for money and because their editor wants to keep his chair in the white house press room.
If you want the real story, it does not come from NEWS CORP, CNN, VIACOM, DISNEY, GE, KOCHTOPUS, GOVERNMENT BROADCASTING, or anyone with an office inside the I-495.

There is No Such Thing as an Illegal Alien
There is no such thing as an illegal alien.
This is so simple. Everyone is wrong about "illegal aliens."
When this country was founded, the founders were not born here. When they formed the Constitution, the very phrase "We The People" was meant to connote that just as they came to flee their tyrannical government, England, and others have come to flee their home countries, We The People means anyone who comes here, and lives in any recognized state of the confederacy called The United States of America.
The Statue of Liberty: Give me your tired, your poor...
If it is illegal now to come across the border, then it was illegal back then. But we know it was not. It is true that we did not treat the indians fairly, but it cannot be said that they owned all the land of the United States prior to its forming.
If someone comes here, for any reason, they are free. If they do not "naturalize" then they are more free than "american citizens."
But but but...
1. They have anchor babies....
This is one of the latest complaints. The problem is NO ONE should be an American Citizen. Just live here peacefully.
2. They use our hospitals and don't pay
American Citizens also do this... but this is a financial crime and should be handledin civil cases.
3. They use our welfare
Then your problem is with Welfare itself. Oh- you want welfare for yourself but not for others? Right... The General Welfare clause has nothing to do with Welfare State programs. They are all wrong. If you say some should get welfare from the government (namely, you) and others should not (namely, poor mexicans) you argue against your own interests.
4. They don't pay taxes
No one should pay taxes. The IRS and all taxes are a Fraud on the people. There is no such thing as "your fair share." All taxation is theft and extortion.
5. They steal our jobs
What you mean is you want to charge more than the market will bear for the tasks you want to perform. All skills have value that goes down as more people can provide it. Like any skill, specialists who provide the market a need, who are in shorter supply, make more than common labourers who are in large supply. Also, skills that no longer service the market are worth less. Mexicans and others will do the work of common labour and because there are so many common people who can perform this task- even american citizens, the value per hour of these skills is low. Kicking out mexicans will not increase the hourly rate, since common labor skills are already fully depreciated.
6. They are criminals
So are American Citizens. Many people who cannot make ends meet find other ways to earn a living. Some of those are unlawful. But not all unlawful behaviour should be prosecuted. Victimless crimes and no property damage, should not be prosecuted.
7. They are drug users
The United States DEA is the Worlds Largest Drug Dealer. It creates the kingpins, and enables them. Some become world leaders, others blow up buildings in New York.

What if they held an Election, and nobody came?
by Mark Watson
You have been hearing it for some time. The Republicans taste the blood in the water. The chum that is the democratic agenda tastes so good to them. They get to have their war back, they get to kill Iranians, they get to kill more pakistanis, more iraqis, more palestinians... they get to keep killing and killing and killing...
And back home they get to keep spying and spying and spying. From Backskatter vans, to the already accomplished Patriot Act, to Real ID, to the Arizona Wall.
They will fight not to defeat government healthcare- just tweak it to their advantage.
But Obama will not be in charge. They will have their pound of flesh, their "read my lips, no new taxes", their one-term democrat.
Don't fall for it.
But if we don't vote Republican, Obama will win re-election. I think they said the same about McCain- 4 more years of Bush- and the Democrats said, But if we don't vote, McCain will be Bush's third term.
The Tea Parties will save us. Give me a break. Kochtapussies.
Palin will take her lumps. She is fine as long as she stumps for Republicans, but they will never let her stand for a movement against the GOP. No, The Tea Party, is nothing more than a venting, a GOP bloodletting, to make republicans feel like they have a voice.
Stop playing by the rules.
If voting changed anything, it would be outlawed.
Stay home on election day. Wear an "I did not vote" sticker on your shirt.
Opt-out. After that, opt-out of other things the government expects of you- taxes for example.
It is time to Go Galt. It is time to stop participating in the matrix, the system.
This is the time to unplug. Rip the cord out of the wall. Turn off the media blowhards.
If you are in the service, go awol, if you are being courted, object. Do not fight undeclared wars. If it is so important, let the generals draw their own blood on the field.
It is time.

We The People...
If you are a conservative, We The People means to you, anyone who was born or "naturalized" in the United States after the civil war, who has a birth certificate, a social security number, a drivers license, derives some degree of government assistance, pays taxes, and supports the many undeclared wars of the United States of America since the 19th century. You are supposed to go to a "christian" church that votes republican, and which holds a 501(c)(3), and you believe the supreme court needs to pass a law that denies the killing of children of teen mothers. Abandoning children from Pre-school to High School Graduation to State indoctrination centers, reporting them to Selective Service, and Killing children who just reach the age of 18 and go to war is ok and celebrated. If, they make it home, they get free college- another 4 or more years living inside a State bubble.
If you are a liberal, We the People means to you, anyone who was born or "naturalized", or who comes across the southern border to vote democrat or have an anchor baby in the United States after the civil war, who has a birth certificate which may be changed if you decide your birth sex no longer represents how you feel at the moment. You have a social security number, a drivers license, live off welfare, section 8 housing, and medicare, or you feel guilty if you do not, pay taxes except when you form a non-profit, and support the many undeclared wars of the United States of America since the 19th century. You might be an emergent christian, or a homosexual bent on leading a traditional church denomination and taking its tithe money, or you might be an atheist who believes in evolution, or you might believe in the tree outside your house. Either way, you believe in the division of church and state except when your democrat candidates need to get votes from their democrat churches. Killing children wether for abortion, or for war is not a problem for you.
Now for the truth....
We The People were the people who met in secret, to form a union, that was tried and failed more than once since the Articles of Confederation. According to those in the secret meeting, We The People meant the entire world. Why? Because to that point- NO ONE WAS BORN IN THE UNITED STATES- this was a place all could come and escape tyranny. If they could break free of the bonds that enslaved them, and if they could make it across the ocean, they would be freely accepted and could have liberty. The union was established to defend the liberty of the people who made that trip, from those who had previously enslaved them. At no time, has We The People ever meant only those who are citizens. A Citizen of the United States of America is a foreign construct, a post civil war "subject" or "slave" of the Federal Government. As such white slaves should not have more or less freedom than black slaves- instead we would all be equally enslaved to the State, the United States of America.
However, the legitimacy of the Constitution to be the "law of the land" has been determined over the years. It is a dead letter. Even if some claim it a living document they can change- the fact is the only thing left that matters is the idea that the President must leave office after 8 years and might leave after 4. Even that has not always been the case. Spooner was right. It confers no contract with the people who currently reside in North America any more than it confers any opportunity to anyone else in the world, because it is powerless.
Instead we now have a government of, by, and for the corporations. The number of congressmen, senators, supreme court justices, and executives, is held at about 550, or a little over the Fortune 500. Likewise, there are about 210 Multinational corporations in control of the 190 or so in the UN General Assembly.
In most cases, if you have been in office in any political capacity, in service to these corporations, it is considered a promotion to work for them more directly after you leave office and bring your contacts with you. In this way, each government official is a glorified sales person or "lobbyist" to the government, on behalf of that corporation after leaving office.
It is necessary, in order to ever attain freedom again, to take down the offices and the corporations that control them. Shuffling politicians each election, appointed by the corporations, is not changing things very much other than to make things a hell of a lot worse in the case of liberty.
Spooner was right.

Chapter 1: Liberty
1. Liberty
"It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery." - Galatians 5:1 NASB
If liberty in Christ is really so precious- and I know that it is- then why fo so many christians abandon it in service to the State?
